The 2010 Wine Festival at The Plains is shaping up to be the best ever. In addition to world class Virginia Wines, the Seminar Tent will be loaded with informative and entertaining presentations. And, as always, there will be 2 days of world class polo. The event line up includes:

Wine Tasting 101

Head out onto the show floor with a bit more confidence than the next person. This entertaining and informative session will fill you in on the basics of wine tasting.

Carl Henrickson, from the Farm Wineries Council will lead the conversation. but, be fore-warned the mere mention of wine could subject you to his long exhaustive monologues, expose you to his extremely hot air and delay you indefinitely.

Of course, there will be 250 wines to taste from 30 of Virginia's finest wine makers. Pair

lobster rolls and strudels of all sorts.
