Vin mousseux rouge?
Posted by lilacwine, Apr 16.

Hey all,
I have been looking for a sparkler, or said otherwise, a "Lambrusco-style" red wine from France. Sweet or dry with bubbles. Does anyone know an appelation where to find those wines?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Cerdon de Bugey!!

A lightly sweet, fruity blend of Poulsard and Gamay that's lighter than Lambrusco but fits the mold.

The effervecent from Brun, FRV100, get it? Is all Gamay but in the same style

Those are the 2 that spring to mind and both are delicious!
