Is there a way to change the userID ?

I can't have people knowing my name and what I drink !

Specially if Im drinking on the job. My boss can find out.

Lets figure a way to create custom ID's.

We had to create usernames for people to allow you to login. If you want it changes just contact us using the form at this url: http://www.snooth.com/contact

Let us know what you want it changed to.

Thanks

hey...then you are going to know who I am when you change my ID.

People have to be able to create there own IDs anonymously.

How can I trust that you won't tell my boss that Hpatel = " New ID " ?

Then she'll know what I'm drinking.

use the contact form to choose a new name and we'll change it. given that we administrate the site we're going to know either way who you are.

Ok.... I guess ur right.
Just be careful with my information.

I'm trusting u not to tell anyone that last Friday I had some drinks at a Sushi place during lunch and went back to work a bit inebriated.

Thank you Snooth.

Phil, that's crap: you have no reason to need to know your users' identities, you just want to know their likes and dislikes.

Are you saying I will NEVER be able to anonymously create an account with a username of my choice and associate it with an arbitrary email address, that I will need to continue using this for-the-beta account?

What if in testing I get my preferences way the hell away from what I actually like to drink, just to test edge cases?

Gabe - as soon as we launch you will be able to create accounts with any (not previously taken) usernames and link them to any (not previously used) email addresses.

What i meant was if one of the beta users wants to change their screen name, whether they do it in their account settings, or if we change it for them, Snooth's team will still know who they are as we'd recognize the email address as someone we invited in the first place.

Once we launch (next week) you'll be able to do what you want - relatively speaking...

Okay, good. That's what I'd thought. Thanks!
