Trader Joes now carrying more well known, top shelf labels.

I hadn't been to a TJs in a while, but upon my last visit, was surprised to see so many more recognizable labels and really good prices for them. Perhaps TJs is upping their game a bit, in addition to having some interesting varietals and great deals on everyday drinking wines, here are some of the ones I jotted down.

Mount Veeder Napa Cab $25
Franciscan Magnificat $30
Cuvaison Napa Mt Veedr cab $40
Cuvaison chardonnay $19
Rombauer Napa cab $32
Matanzas Creek chardonnay sonoma $24
Ferrari Carano chardonnay $19
Mondavi napa reserve chardonnay $35
Sonoma Cutrer chardonnay $24
Far Niente chardonnay $45

Many of these are ten bucks or so lower than the lowest I have seen at our discount liquor chain here in Vegas, called Lees. Check it out in your area and see what deals you find!

Very interesting to see - we have a trader joe's in manhattan, and they have the basics and a few wines at $10-15, but not much over that. I'll go take a look to see if they've upped their game here too
