Posted by lilprincess, May 23, 2011.

Heard about Tomato Wine the other day and I am curious. Does anyone know where to obtain this wine? I am from the Panama City Beach, FL area

I don't know about tomato wine, but there is a winery in NJ that makes apricot wine, mango wine, pineapple wine etc. [http://www.creamridgewinery.com/]

Tomato wine sounds nice, should be served up with bacon, eggs and an english muffin. But could get confused with a bloody mary breakfast. I've never seen it at any of the many liquor marts that I frequent here in the Pacific Northwest. Will watch this post to see what you find out.

Never heard of Tomato Wine but sounds very interesting. Njhic, I think most of the NJ wineries make those sweet fruit wines. Alba in Warren county makes some good Blueberry and rasberry wines. You really have to have a taste for the sweet stuff to appreciate them. I'm a dryhead, so not my cup of tea.

Heres a place where you can purchase but you will probably have to pay a shipping charge unless this is near your home. They are located in Punta Gorda, Florida and here's the web link www.sweettreasures.com/ and click on number 8 at the right hand side of the page. It's called Hot Sun Tomato wine.

@TheWineGuild: I am a fan of the blueberry wine from Tomasillo (sp?) Winery :) It is sweet but with some mild fizz. Good after-dinner drink.

This thread is getting radical. Tomato wine, Blueberry fizz? What ever happened to good old Artichoke wine? (Laugh Out Loud)
