Prepare to enjoy a night at Rice Village's cozy wine bar Salento like no other. On August 20, 2009 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Salento Cafe will feature the Eleven-Fifty wines from Argentina alongside a sampling of their new fall menu.

Join local Houston winemakers Sandra and Jerry Ward as they pour their award winning first vintage of 1150 from Bodega Ikal, a limited production vineyard they planted in Mendoza, Argentina.

New Fall menu items include the delicate Blue Crab Ceviche and a robust tapa-style Red Pepper Tapenade.

Guests will enjoy a complementary tasting of the 2007 vintage 1150 Chardonnay, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon with special pricing on glasses, bottles, and wine parings.

Live music from Guillermo Serpas renowned Latin guitarist will follow.
