Taste3 Goodies

Posted by Rodolphe Boulanger, Jan 12, 2009.

After Chip's excellent post on wine fraud revealed that there were a number of video's from 2007's Taste3 conference on youtube, I watched some of the other videos over the week-end.

I think Snoothers might find these 2 might be of particular interest:

Leo McCloskey - A thought-provoking talk on the classification of the Napa Valley.

Greg Jones - Climate Change and its impact on wine.

I had to go look up what Taste3 was - its a food and wine conference:

Last held in the summer of 2008. Its held at Copia - which i thought filed for chapter 11 (or 7) - is it still on this year?

watched the classification thing quite interesting, although how many producers will be up in arms? Also once the classification wand is waved will it then be as France is rigid or will different terrios bring better classifications or do you think it will be going on points alone (even if it's a fairly new vinyard) ?
