Wow, I dont know much about Peruvian wines, but you have to make sure you have a few pisco sours - basically the same as Whiskey / Brandy sour, but with their local spirit and usually topped with some sweet red syrup:

The only other memorable drink I remember from my short time in Lima is that they do a strange back alley milkshake that involves throwing a small live frog into a blender with milk...

Yes, I tried Pisco sour, but prefer good Pisco straight. Pisco is very similar to the Italian Grappa. As far as I know the difference is that Grappa is made by destilling pomace while for the production of Pisco they destille the whole grape. The winery "Tacama" I am planning to visit also produces Pisco: http://www.tacama.com
