Come on, now, can't you provide a better sales presentation than that?

Swirl is powered by Snooth's API. They're just about to cross 50k downloads. Congratulations to them on that.

Any Snooth users using Swirl? I haven't gotten a chance to play with it myself.

I am installing it now. Checking it out.  Missing two of my favorite local wine stores, seems very slow, at the moment it is stuck searching. Ok, got through that, now it keeps crashing. Oh well. I am not impressed so far. I will give it a few more tries.

Which stores are missing? Can you give me their names and website addresses? The data comes from snooth, so we can help with that. The app itself is not us, so thats outside of our control.

Hi, I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Sashi, and we wrote Swirl for android.  It's been great working with the Snooth API.  The response from the Android community has been great so far, and we certainly have gotten good ratings.  We are currently the number 1 wine app in the Android Marketplace.

The Swirl feature set has largely been community driven.  We had a long list of features when we started, and have been tackling them in the order that people have been most vocal.  We've actually hit a large number of features so far, but our list doesn't seem to get any shorter.

to Manoavino, please contact me and I would like to help work through the problems you are having.  We haven't seen that type of problem before.

thanks, and we're always looking for feedback.

-Sashi

needs a bar code scanner, search is laking. give a limit number of wine when searching.  always have to type the winery, vintage to find the correct 1.  need a better cellar feature.  My wines is okay, but cannot enter qty (am i missing something)

I agree with the barcode, that's something we're working on.  The searching shouldn't be much different than Snooth's though, although I'm not sure what you mean by limiting the number of wines.  We are also adding quantity, but trying to make sure we put it somewhere quick and easy to access.  Swirl didn't start out trying to be a cellar product, but that's the direction most feature requests have taken us.

thanks for the feedback, that's ultimately what makes Swirl better.

I better go back and try Swirl again.  I had very little success with it at first and have mostly abandoned it.  Is Snooth going to do its own Android app?

Will swirl link to my snooth account so I can link wines to my cellar, save, etc?
