Hello from the city that never sleeps! I was raised in wine country - ok, it is Brazil, but we did win a foreign wine prize in France for our Cab Sauv 1991!
I am a wine lover, but not a wine snob and far from a connoisseur... that is why I decided to create a profile here: to learn, learn, learn!
My little contribution for those (like me) who look for the best price/value in a bottle: Santa Julia Malbec 2009 for $10.00 - drank last night (11/2) and it was really nice. Also Etchart Privado Torrontes and Luigi Bosca Malbecs - for a Brazilian I sure do drink way too much Argentinian wine!
Interested in learning more about the Frenchs and Italians... I had a bottle of Chateau Lynch-Bages '96 a couple of years ago and was very impressed. Nothing much on the Italian side, though.
Nice meeting everyone!

Welcome to Snooth Alne!
I hope we are all just wine lovers here, at least that's the idea!
In New York you should have plenty of chances to explore Itlain wines, some might even be as good as that Lynch Bages!
