Remember Sim City and The Sims? Well here's your chance to simulate your own winery. Its an oldie, but its fun.

So what's the secret of your success? Is it the marketing blitz and new oak every year?

well i sat at home with a glass of wine to get the creative juices flowing and did spend some time optimizing it...

Start with $2.5m, spend the money on the best land and team, and skimp on the winery - you can upgrade that later.

At this point you have around $250k left. The first few years suck, so save your money. The fact that you bought land in a touristy place will get you great income.

Then start buying additional grapes, bulk at first, and when you can afford it max out marketing, grape purchases, new oak and vineyard or winery upgrades every year from then on...and pray!

Try using that strategy to beat my score.

PS I was unable to do well with more starting money, or with any anything other than the best land / team combination.

I broke $150m, but got bored. Starting with the minimum $ makes it very hard to amass real wealth before year 12.
