I run a wine blog (http://gradsguidetowine.blogspot.com) and have a hard time finding other wine blogs that aren't super popular but that have quality content. I'd love to see some other people's blogs, follow and comment!

Here is a link to my Lucha Vino blog.  Old World v. WA State (New World) wine matches each week with Old World competitors selected based on where the major pro cycling races are happening.  Check out The Rules for more details.

Cheers!

Chipping away at the mystery of wine . . . one glass at at time.

We post daily and cover reviews, how-to, basic wine enjoyment, and personal stories.

I haven't started a wine blog yet, but I'm seriously considering it.  The problem is, I can't seem to narrow my focus enough to start a topic.  I can't figure out what direction I want to take it yet.  Besides, I'm by no means an expert on wine, or even close.  I just like to drink it!

I'm definitely looking forward to checking out your blogs.  I can't seem to read enough about wine.

Hey ScottLaura,

Why don't you get started by blogging on winepress?

You can get a feel for what works, what doesn't, and you can do it whenever you want knowing that there will be a ready made audience here waiting for your next installment!

ScottLauraH,

I had little experience tasting and writing about wine before I started my wine blog and it actually propelled me to learn more about wine. I started reading, appreciating and tasting! It's addictive.

I have not covered wine yet, although I intend to and have been flirting with taking a wine course, but I do write about food and drink.

sorry for the shameless plug for a loosely related blog!

I write the blog At Least I'm Enjoying the Ride!

I pretty much took this summer off, but I'm back in the saddle again.

Well, I love snooth, of course, but there are others... I like this one, more for the recipes with pairings,: www.rickbakas.com

As a  frequent contributor to snooth, I have to say, they do have a great "perfect storm" of wine ratings, forums, food pairings, recipes, wine purchasing,  etc.    I am considering starting my own website specializing in French wines, from the perspective of a former Cali snob.  However, I need more research/tasting first.  I have dabbled into many, many  French wines lately, but feel i need to become more knowledgeable before I start my website.  I plan to travel to France next spring and do tastings of more little-known wineries (which are prolific), visit the winemakers, I plan to host video interviews and tours, as well as local flavor.  I want to stay a month... hopefully my work sched will be ok.... Cheers!

Napagirl68 - you don't need more research.  Half of the fun is the journey.  The blog can be about your journey exploring French wines.

Just started a wine blog to document my project to taste wine from all 50 states - 50 States Of Wine. Just a good excuse to travel and taste - happily, my wife's on board.

I started a beer and wine blog about 6 months ago and have been getting great feedback with it - thought you might like to check it out! It mostly focuses on makking wine, but has lots of random tips and tricks too.
