Root Liqueur

Posted by drumyourlifeaway, Apr 1, 2011.

Hey Everyone,

I have a Root Beer Liqueur, which basically Root Beer originated from.  I have been having difficulty finding something to properly mix with. Everything I have tried so far has been overpowered by the flavor of the Root Beer.  Any suggestions would be great.

Hi there! Are you referring to ROOT by Art in the Age? If so, we have plenty of cocktail recipes to share online at www.artintheage.com.  ROOT is a complex spirit inspired by the history of root beer.  It is certified organic and has 13 whole ingredients so it is a complex spirit.  It can play very nicely with other spirits and/or modifiers since it is 80 proof.  My personal favorites are ROOT Manhattan (follow your fav recipe and just replace the bourbon whiskey with ROOT to give an old classic a new twist!) or the Farmers Daughther which is ROOT, apple cider, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup.  If you need additional information, please visit our website and also reach out to us at info@artintheage.com

Cheers!
