Introduce Yourself

Raising a glass - and the bar...

Posted by solomania9, Oct 20, 2008.

Hello everyone - I'd like to propose a self-indulgent toast to welcome me as the newest member of the Snooth team. I've been a longtime fan of Snooth and everyone who helps make the site great, so it's both an honor and a challenge to be helping grow one of the slickest sites I've ever seen on the 'ol interwebs. As Creative Director I'll be doing all sorts of things to help make sure Snooth keeps growing and staying true to its core foundations - all while giving everything that "Snoothy" style. It's going to be a fun road ahead.

Please feel free to shoot me thoughts or suggestions along the way. We make this site for the users, so your thoughts and opinions are all integral to Snooth's success.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some horrible wine-related puns to think up.

"self-indulgent toast" = LOL (*raises palm to forehead, as fear of relinquishing 'creative control' sweeps over me*).

But seriously, welcome Mike!

To those that dont know Mike, he's been a long standing supporter. A former highschool friend and roommate of Mark, our CTO, and he, quite literally, went to the same design school as Clint, who has hand crafted most of what you see before you on this site.

Clint will still be around, working with Mike as well, so we're all pretty excited by what the next few months will bring.

And Snooth continues to grow! I'm pretty fortunate to be working with such talented folks. Welcome, Mike!

Congrats Mike! Seems like my opportunities to work at Snooth are dwindling! ;-)

See "evidence" below for how's Mikes been getting on these first 2 weeks:

At $2,600 - good luck my friend...

Who said he was paying for it, Philip? He's obviously dropping hints for that 2010 bonus round...

yeah, lets hope its a short recession then...

Hey, you never know. I expect the 1990 Margaux to be less expensive by a lot after all of this has shaken out.
