- question about uploading photos....
is it possible to upload a photo to a forum thread directly from the computer? right now I only get a button that asks for a URL, (unlike, for example, uploading pix of wine bottles), and I'm not clever enough to do that.... is it possible to add a browse function for us to use or is there some other way to do it?
I took photos in Paso Robles solely for the purpose of sharing them on Snooth! ;-)

Ling - No, unfortunately not. Its not ideal, and something we do need to build into the site. At the moment you need to host them on flickr, or a similar service, and then drop the url's into this thread.

Philip, I've felt frustrated about this on a few occasions, too, so whenever you're able to prioritize it, the new functionality would be welcome.

I would be interested in the photos since Patricia and I want to take a trip to Paso Robles, (Justin, specifically).
For a means fo rothers to see the pics, you might want to go to http://www.snapfish.com or a similar site and upload the photos (It's easy, even I can do it). Then you can send the link to those who are interested.

Hi RLee. I did something similar, using Picasa. Still it won't let me upload to Snooth for some reason. Somebody else tried also. [PHILIP: any ideas???]
Here is the link to a photo of Justin:
http://picasaweb.google.com/carmen.on.picasa/PasoRobles#5388859814698322146
Once you are there, you can scroll through and see all the photos. They're not all captioned, but there are several of Justin right around this link.
Paso was amazing. If you're going, you might want to read my (lengthy, heh heh) travelogue in the "Wine and Travel" forum....

From the link you gave me, you would have needed to right click on the image and go to "view image". Then copy and paste that URL into the image box.
Here's the pic:

Thanks for posting this, Philip. Could I ask you to help me one more time? When I go to the Picasa website and right-click on that photo, the menu says things like "Save Picture... Email Picture.... Print Picture". I do not see "view image" anywhere. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the pics. I'm a new member of Justin's Wine Society. (Tennessee just changed the law so we can receive direct shipments last July 1st) We want to see the wine country but also to stay a couple of days at Justin. I'll take pics then, too.
