A little more detail here in the forum would be useful, rather than just venue, price and straight-to-the-link!

Salud!

Ah, details, sure…

Should I say that Pingus is the best Spanish wine?

Or one of the greatest wines in the whole wide world?

Or maybe that you’d have to spend over $750 to taste 13 vintages, from 1995 to 2008?

I guess I should add that, as of now, there is no way you can taste all 14 vintages, including 2009.

Simply put: Nobody has a single bottle of the 2009 Pingus.

Why? The whole production is at the winery, waiting to be labeled.

Except for one bottle.

The one that Peter just sent me today for this dinner.

A little more detail...

Sure, just let me know what sort of details you need.

I think enough has been said, and i'm sure most of us will be meeting you in Mexico ; )

"and i'm sure most of us will be meeting you "

Well, now I have to agree with dmcker

"A little more detail here in the forum would be useful". Who are "us"?

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is but I think people know Pingus. And people who've tried several vintages may or may not agree that it's the "best" Spanish wine, although I'll readily agree that it's a very very good wine. So is the point to get some attendees or to write about the wine or what? Just curious. I'm sure it will be a nice tasting.

Greg's questions are apt, and though implied in my earlier posting, much better presented. Let's hear more about the details of Pingus, rather than such broadranging generalizations. Besides Jon's winking comment, I don't think you'll be pulling participants to your event at this rate...

What's the point of this thread? I don't have the least idea.

Is Pingus the best Spanish wine? Tough question. I never said it was. I just asked if I needed to say that = P
