Periodic table of meats; anyone up for building the wine version?

I know I'm hanging around geeks at work too much these days. In that world 'meat' is people, and data+processes the counterpart, and we try to build businesses that leverage both effectively. Or is this explanation already too geeky, too?

Anyway, coming from that, why was I laughing so hard at this periodic table of meats? Hate to say, GregDP, that Spam was ranked lowest, along with roadkill. But then bacon, BBQ chicken, hotdogs and pepperoni (on pizza) were among the 'noble meats'.

OK, so who wants to put together the wine version?

DM - there are a few of them around:

The good version:

Thanks for the pointers, Philip. Can't really see them clearly on Amazon's site even when I zoom way in. Am I correct in guessing the Meat boys have an edge on humor? Would've been easier to view if a png file, of course... ;-)

Slightly better link:

But, he wants you to buy it, so no large images available...

I've been working on something sort of similar. Being at Snooth I was hoping for a techier implementation, but I may have to settle for a simple chart.

Yeah, Philip, I figured, thus the winking emoticon.  ;-)

Greg, hope you go for humor, too. Or perhaps two versions? Too serious seems so tedious, at least here at the end of a sweaty summer....

Obviously could have a critter-wine section, crazy-name section, as well as obscure-grape section and....

Good tongue-in-cheek suggestion DM.  What you (or we) need to decide is an appropriate cognate of atomic number.  For example, do you have a Hydrogen equivalent; Trebbiano, Picpoul, Ugni Blanc or or some other neutral white wine product of little pretence?  And let us not forget a wine of Ununoctium equivalency... and possibly one with the same evasive effect on the palate however transcendental the experience (I truly do hesitate to suggest a candidate here).

This might be an amusing distraction indeed. One might even begin drawing parallels with the meat table - the hotdog or sirloin medallions equivalents of the Mendeleev chart cross-tabulated with their wine brethren.
