Pamper Your Wine while Traveling

Posted by Wine Diaper, May 2, 2010.

Hello world!

Congratulations on your new bouncing baby bottle you bought while traveling to Italy! Here are a few things new wine-parents need to know about properly diapering your precious little one.

  • The Wine Diaper is intended to protect bottles in luggage. It should never be used on a human baby.
  • To apply, simply open the resealable closure and insert the bottle. Pins and tapes of any kind are not necessary.
  • If you’re new to Wine Diapering, you may want to practice on a bottle of the cheap stuff first. All wine is precious, but not equally precious.
  • When putting the Wine Diaper on your bottle, take care not to do it too near the edge of a table or counter. The danger that the bottle will roll off is too great. Even though the Wine Diaper protects your bottle from breakage, we cannot guarantee it will survive a fall of several feet unscathed.
  • Do not be alarmed if, on removing the Wine Diaper, you discover that your wine is a reddish color. This is not a rash – it’s perfectly normal unless your bottle contains white wine. In that case, something freaky is going on and you should definitely be alarmed.
  • Never apply diaper creams or ointments to remove the red color. At best, that will just make your bottle of wine too slippery to hold; at worst, it could get mixed up with the wine, which would be totally gross.
  • In most situations, you need not throw your Wine Diaper away after removing it. Unless spillage has occurred, the Wine Diaper is re-usable.
  • If you notice a sharp, unpleasant, defecatory aroma coming from your Wine Diaper, dispose of it immediately, along with the wine bottle. And never speak of this again.

This is first it sounded like a practical joke!

We no longer need the old bath-robe, then!

And one is to ask me what this has got to do with carrying around wine !!

Be civilised...

This basically looks like a crappier version of the Wine Mummy.

the difference is that there is a diaper inside the bag that will, if the bottle breaks:

1- absorb the liquid

2- protect the bag from the broken pieces of the bottle

I used it a couple of times and recommend it to my clients when they travel. It works perfectly.

Why don't used some protection device that can prevent the bottles to be broken!
