Many thanks to Vivek of StartupSquad for his article on Snooth last Friday. I think that's our first piece of press. I'm not sure how he came across us, but my thanks all the same.
Vivek mentioned that our idea may be too 'niche', and in some respects he's close to the mark. Wine is a large market ($100 billion world wide, with over 20% of it in the US), its just not much of an online market yet. This is changing fast - many wine retailers and wineries are reporting 50% annual growth in online sales, but Snooth has more than just riding the wave planned. We have some big plans to integrate the on- and offline wine markets. Like everything else to do with Snooth, more will come out over time.
I'm excited to see word is slowly filtering out, and look forward to seeing more of the company name in the coming months.
