Nouveau Fête and the Ordre des Compagnons du Beaujolais
New York City
Three different Nouveaux will be served with pâté, charcuterie, cheese and other treats at the French Institute Alliance Française's annual Beaujolais Nouveau Fête. French singer Pascalito will perform and wine writer Robert V. Camuto will sign copies of "Corkscrewed: Adventures in the New French Wine Country." Watch the fun as the Ordre des Compagnons du Beaujolais, dressed in full regalia, inducts new members into the New York chapter. For ticket information, visit fiaf.org.

Thanks B - I've been to a few of the Beaujolais events in NYC in the past. They throw some decent events - last one I attended was on a boat! Never been to a Nouveaux one though.

Boat Parties are great to begin with but a Boat Wine Party must be the tops!! Let me know if you go, would be interested to see how it is.

The boat wine party was good - it was lat year, and during the summer. I wouldnt want to go in this weeks weather! I remember a lot of the women were in high heels, and after 2 hours of drinking really struggled to stay upright as the boat lolled on the occasional wave...
