Just taking a minute to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a musician from Northern Virginia. The wife and I just came back from our first trip to Napa and Sonoma. It was fun and educational. We are trying to pace ourselves in enjoying the wine we brought home with us. I'm looking forward to learning more about wine here on snooth. I love to get and give wine recommendations, and to talk with people who like to do the same. See you around!

You were in my hood and you didn't drop in! hahahhahah No worries ... next time, I'm at Loxton Cellars in Sonoma Valley.

Was Kaz there when you visited? He is truly the mad scientist of wine!

Seems like you covered a lot of territory while you were out here and hit a lot of the big guys. As Greg asked, any highlights / lowlights you'd like to share?

Honda, yea Kaz was there. We loved his wines and had a great time hanging out with him.
The Walking Tree Cab at Geyser peak was incredible. We had dinner in Sonoma one night and had a cab from Atlas Peak. We were disappointed to see that they did not have a public tasting room, but were pleasantly surprised when we walked into Buena Vista and found out that they were a sister winery to Atlas peak, as well as Geyser Peak. We joined the Atlas Peak wine club and get discounts there, Geyser Peak, Buena Vista, Gary Ferrell. If I had to pick my favorite wine from the trip it would have to be the Walking Tree Cab from Geyser Peak.
