New Search Tools
We launched some major changes recently to the search results page. We're pretty excited, as now you can sort your results (top right of page) by SnoothRank, Price - high to low and Price - low to high. SnoothRank is still the best metric here as it takes into account user ratings, number of ratings, credibility amongst other factors, but when you just have to spend more than $40 on a bottle of wine for a gift, this would be a way to do it.
The other big addition is the search refinement tool (left hand bar). With a double pin price slider you can now set a price range. Then add a vintage, and start to really surf around the results: adding and removing regions, varietals, tags and the like.
Take a look, play around and let us know what you think. And, as ever, just send us your feedback on what we need to fix / add / remove - remember this is your site.
PS. These additions work 99.9% in Firefox, and we're now cleaning them up for Internet Explorer and the other browsers. Functionally, they should work in all, but they might just not look as smart...
