We have found a terrific value in Spanish red wine for the current grilling season. Mercedes Eguron Shiraz-Tempranillo - 2006, Castilla, is a great buy! It is deep in color, engaging in warm fruit aromas, richly balanced in dark, bright fruit flavors with a hint of smoky spice that screams for BBQ. This well made wine want to join that party! If you can find it, buy it($9-10), and enjoy it.
