- Meads
Hey. I tried a Californian Mead that I believe was called Canterbury, but I could be wrong. Anyways I practically fell in love with this honey spiced drink. Would anyone be willing to give me some suggestions for a good mead to try. I don't want anything too sweet, but something that combines a nice honey taste with a good balance of spices.

I grew up in Cornwall - South West England. Land of King Arthur, basically.
We drank mead in our teens (mead and cider!), but I've not seen any large nationwide brands, and I've never even seen it in the US.
Lets see if anyone else can help...

Bargetto Winery makes one called Chaucer's and I think it's generally available (or certainly by mailorder).

Wait a sec. Chaucer's is what I had. I got that confused with Canterbury. That's what I get for reading the Canterbury Tales while typing on the computer. Thank you
