Hi Stacey,

Learning more about you already. So what does the menu look like. Maysara makes some fabulous wines, this should be a great tasting.

The chef and I are working on the menu. We are finding out what the local farm can get to us. It has been a cool, wet spring, so great for leafy greens, but the berries are suffering without the sun. We'll have the menu put together by Monday. We plan on sampling some of the wines over the weekend, and seeing where the inspiration takes us!

Well, that's almost a combination worthy of returning to my hometown!  Maysara makes some really tasty and reasonable Pinots.  For anyone not familiar with them, they are in McMinnville, OR, heart of the Willamette Valley region.

BTW, how long has Constantino's been around?  I have this recollection of a similar place dating back to my parents' years living in Cleveland.

Constantino's has been around a long time. It started as a very small neighborhood grocer when Costas first came to the US, and they now have two large locations in the Warehouse District & University Circle. We will be opening a cafe in The Flats during phase one roll out too!

The chef and I cannot wait to get our hands on the Maysara Pinots to start tasting and putting the menu together. We're considering seared scallops, asparagus, lamb chops and even house smoked chocolate as a final course. If you're coming home next month, this would be a great event to come back to. If you can't make it, we're going to  start holding them every other month, so you can plan a trip!
