Faustino de Autor Rioja Reserva Especial is the way to go but be prepared to pop for $56.00 per bottle for this Tempranillo. I'm sure that there are other Tempranillo's other than this brand. If you're stuck on the brand rather than the economical aspects, then purchase at will. If you're interested in finding other values, use the Snooth Search Wines area of this website, you can make a nice decision within your monetary range by looking at Snooth ratings. Just search for Tempranillo's or Rioja, either one will probably work

Faustino is from Rioja.  Not the top wine, but in good years it's not bad. Recent vintages that you may want to look for are 2001, 2004 and 2005.  Maybe 2009 or 2010, but those won't be released for a while.  And then while you're drinking those wines, explore some more from the region.  You needn't pay a lot of money to get good quality.  Finally, don't think that Rioja = Spain.  It's one region in a big country, so  whether or not you like those wines has nothing to do with whether or not you'll like other wines from different regions.  Best thing to do is explore!  Best.
