Introduce Yourself

Snooth User: NYpeach

Looking to expand my horizons..

Posted by NYpeach, Jan 5, 2010.

Hello, I found snooth while looking for a review on a certain wine. I've only started appreciating wines a couple of years ago, I usually choose them based on word of mouth or whatever I can afford. Hopefully I can educate myself a little more about wines, as well as figure out what my ideal wine would be.

W E L C O M E !
FORUM IS GREAT........Members of FAMILY SNOOTH do share freely !
I personally live for FRENCH GASTRONOMY but because I am open-minded,
I do have a wonderful time exploring and being adventurous........ like
following THE WINES OF LEBANON and enjoying GOLDEN KAAN WINES OF
WESTERN CAPE/SOUTH AFRICA, and imbibing of fine MOROCCON WINES on my visits there.
CHEERS!

It all depends on what ya like. Great thing about wine: It's truly up to you whether you like it or not.

I agree...it all depends on what you like...definitely....
And so SNOOTH, with its experts, great enthusiasts and everyone
with the faintest interest....all assist in helping you on your journey to "WHAT I LIKE" !!!

Just kind of fell in love with VINA CARMEN.....MAIPO VALLEY......CHILE.
Very interesting flavours !!!

NOT SURE IT IS A GOOD ONE FOR BEGINNERS....but you could buy one which you could
lay down for a year.
I had a few.....The most recent was CARMEN 2007 CABERNET SAUVIGNON a little over $10. US currency.....I feel that in one year it would open up nicely....so, I laid 6 bottles down!
What do you say?
Have you all tried CHILE? Some are bored with CHILE !! I am not ever giving up on CHILE...I always taste. I do quite understand why some are bored with CHILE, frankly speaking. However one should not merely speculate....but taste instead ! CHEERS!
