Good luck Hgol.

Most California Sauvignon Blancs are produced for immediate consumption.  (Merry Edwards may insist otherwise with hers, and I am testing her opinion, but I am a few years from any conclusion.)  I'm guessing that the 2008s are, pretty much, gone.  It looks like the winery is selling the 2011.  Also, at the winery site is a list of restaurants and retail outlets that have it,  Most of those are in California or Nevada.

Thank you so much for your reply! I'm in KS - are they able to ship wine to me if I do not have a liquor lisence?

I have no idea what Kansas law is, although my suspicion is not positive.  I would suggest you just contact the winery.  They would know.

No idea? According to the link you left n the "I'm glad I live in California" thread", oh that one? I must be getting old ;), Kansas is a D+.

  1. Winery direct to Consumer - Yes
  2. Retailer to Consumer - No
  3. Gov control of wine sales - No
  4. Sunday sales of wine -  Yes
  5. BYO - Yes
  6. Wine sales in supermarket - No

I don't understand why that's a D+ but anyhow he/she should be able to purchase direct from Hugo Family Wines.
