Speaking of local, I went to the Hangar One distillery yesterday. If anyone is looking for a great way to spend $10 in Alameda, CA, go there.

I remember when potatoes started to fall out of favor on the south fork. A nickel a pound wasn't a viable price yet farmers continued to plant and produce potatoes since that is what they did. Not alot of potatoes around anymore so it's nice to see that the demand may be there to continue to support the remaining family farms. By a bottle of vodka, support a farmer. Pretty cool.
