Introducing TaWines - Android app for snooth

TaWines has just been made available on the Android Market.

Download your snooth managed wine inventory to the app and TaWines will make it easier to enjoy your wines.

The app works on most Android devices with user interfaces intended for smart phone and tablet sized devices.

We will be updating the app with your suggestions.  Please post in this thread, or on our forum.

Very cool! I'm going to find someone in the office with an Android phone and have them download it.

Unless there's a way to give it a test run without having an Android phone?

Yeah, I'd go for a test run first. Familiarity makes an application more effective.

Hi Mark, Juliet,

Did you get a chance to give it a whirl?

Please let us know!!!

Tallus has created a free version of TaWines (TaWines-Lite) that will allow you to search Snooth and add a wine to your devices local listing.  You can then edit the wine locally.

Now, if you want to download your current snooth catalog and keep the local listings updated with online, then we of course recommend that you upgrade to TaWines :)

Now you can try it for Free!!!

We have seen some snooth users installing the app - any comments?  Any features you would like to additionally see?

Thanx for the feedback!

Blimey,....this place is silent...

no interest in apps for wine?

I guess if you keep trying, Mr. David Li, someone may respond! I don't have an Android, and in my circle they're viewed as starter kits or stepping stones for what ultimately become Apple iOS users. Any plans to port it over to the iPhone?  ;-)

We develop apps for web, PC, Android and iOS.  So, if we developed TiWines (iOS) there any interest?  The experience with spending the time we have developing an Android app for Snooth is a little scary to spend more time developing for iOS.  We developed the app on Android as the genesis for it was an app for restaurant management. TaWines was an offshoot for the Snooth consumer market.

So, any major interest in an app for Snooth that supports Apple devices?

You are aware that Snooth has their own iOS app, aren't you?

Reply by mrdavidli, Dec 11, 2011.

Yes, now that you bring that up I think we were aware when we first started going on supporting snooth.

Is that all the community needs (feature wise)?  Is snooth continually updating it?
