I know this is petty

Posted by 1rockiesfan, Jan 23, 2013.

I know this is petty, and maybe even a little OCD.

I love, love the wine tip of the day, but its really never been a tip, but more of a fact. Just sayin ;)

I don't know, I think I like my tips to be based on fact rather than fiction.

How about this tip, fact or fiction? Price is synonymous with quality.

Or this one... Wine that ages well is better than wine that doesn't so don't buy wine that will not age.

Or, plastic cling wrap will absorb TCA and make a corked wine drinkable.

I personally feel fact is way more valuable than opinion any day. Just sayin.

GO GIANTS! ;)

I'll let GDP comment on this one ;)   "Fact of the Day" doesn't have the same ring to it I guess.

Yeah, for me I think the difference is between knowledge and wisdom, the way it's currently structured it provides knowledge, but when I hear "tip" I am expecting wisdom...

ere's the official dictionary definition of a "tip"

1. a piece of advice or expert or authoritative information

2. a piece of advance or confidential information given by one thought to have access to special or inside sources

Hence, any useful fact offered by someone who knows what she's talking about is a "tip."

What if the tip comes from a guy? ;)

@OUTTHERE In my 17 years of marriage experience I have found, "SHE" always knows what she, is talking about.
