I am drinking my first Bordeaux

And I love it. That is all. :)

Oh, I should mention, Chateau Saint-Sulpice 2006. I can only imagine the potential of some of the greater Bordeaux out there now!

Bordeaux is amazing- it's so complex with it's falours.

what prompted you to try this one?  Try and grab a 2004 to compare.

Folks, lots of 2005 still in the market, and the prices are dropping.  Negociant wines from Christian Moueix priced like daily drinkers from a vintage that was supposed to be the best of the decade until they needed to hype 2009 futures. That and the recent flight from Bordeaux wines by young hipsters means it is time to buy the ready to drink bottles now and maybe a few to cellar as well.  Good luck with that. Also going to put in a plug for a lot of 2003s that are still drinking well.  Clos L'Eglise at less than $20 is a good value if you can find it in your area.
