I have been tasting and collecting wines for several years. i travel quite a bit and always enjoy bringing back a dozen or so bottles aftger my jouirneys.
Hoping to share information and learn more of this delicous subject...

Welcome, Cuvee. How do you bring your bottles back? A case would eat up a lot of checkin capacity...

I am a great enthusiast and belong to a SOMMELIER group that invites steady wine-lovers !
I LEARN EVERYDAY BY VISITING SNOOTH AND FOLLOWING UP .
I have travelled tremendously and still do !
Brought back wine from TAIWAN (MADE IN TAIWAN) .....was not too bad at alll!!!
Brought from MOROCCO.......absolutely lovely....from MEKNES REGION.
WILL GAVE NAMES LATER......also CYPRUS AND LEBANON (BEKAA VALLEY).

LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR OFFERINGS!

Taiwan used to produce sweet fruit wines ie that made of blueberries, strawberry, plum... that give appetite.

Mostly from the 台中 (Taichung) area, I presume? Had some pleasant ones there long, long ago...

Yes, and also some will from Tainan (Southern part of Taiwan).

dmcker......ahhhhhhhhhh.....we would cover a lot of terrain....vineyards....terroir....
territory....when we meet !!! YES...TAICHUNG. There is also GAOCHUNG...(DO NOT RECALL IF THEY DID WINES IN THAT REGION).
I enjoyed sipping my wines at the SUN MOON LAKE resort. What a lovely setting!
Stayed at the LAI-LAI Sheraton and THE GRAND HOTEL on several visits ....both carried superb wine-lists,
though not very long lists. CHEERS.
