Umm, not sure what I am onto here. I am a perennial Ex-Pat having lived all over the place. At the moment in Texas; back to posting in Montreal day after tomorrow just for a couple of weeks. Sitting here enjoying a Pinot Grigio whilst I renovate my new house in Lago Vista. As an aside, try Gamay for a wine with lots of tannin, makes great Coq-Au-Vin.

Which gamay are you trying? Generally they are pretty light bodied, but they are delicious and a classic for coq au vin!
