Introduce Yourself

Hello Snooth!

Posted by Stacella1, Apr 10, 2013.

I am a recent transplant from Maryland to Ohio with an enthusiastic interest in all things wine. Drinking, making, selling, etc. I have friends who own a winery in Maryland, and I used to volunteer for them at festivals throughout the year. I am an Event Designer, so wine is often a topic of conversation. In fact, I'm putting together a wine dinner menu for a site taking place next month. I'm looking to make new friends in a new town, and how better than with a bottle of wine?

WELCOME STACELLA 1!

Great idea...over a bottle of wine...always the best route!

Have you tried any of the USA Wines from the Finger Lakes Region New York?

I work for a market with an extensive wine selection. The only vineyard that we carry from that region is Salmon Run. They have a lot of varietals, including some interesting blends. Ever heard of them? I'll let you know if I give them a try.

Yes..yes...Dr.Frank's wines! Konstantin!

I have had RKATSITELI with fish...lovely!  That is from a very old grape type, from thousands of years ago.

Salmon Run is the Dr.Frank value wine; from newer vineyards.

You must taste the Dr.Frank Rieslings.

Keep us posted STACELLA1.

Hello Stacella and welcome to Snooth!

So what's the scoop on your wine dinner? Planning one is almost as much fun as actually partaking. Does the selection in your market focus on any particular region? Looking forward to hearing more about you.
