I trained and worked as a chef in the US and Switzerland, owned a bakery and specialty food company and taught a wide variety of classes at Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta.
We now live in Prescott, AZ, I still teach on line and at the local community college. Love to travel, love good wines-beers-spirits, we have 5 rescue cats, go hiking and generally am interested in lots of things.and that is me petting a wild lion in Zimbabwe.

Welcome Harry, how long did you live in Europe? Where there certain wines you liked there, versus in North America? I bet you still bake a lot on holidays etc.!

I lived 2 years in Zurich and a summer in Siena. There was another 3 months also in Zurich training for a Swiss company that was opening restaurants in NYC.
My go to areas for wines are typically Italy, Spain, Languedoc, Austria when I can find them and German rieslings. Oregon PN and most any wine from WA.
I do a fair mount of baking and love making brioche, croissants, Danish pastries, and, yes, special holiday yeast breads.
