Hello Snooth!

Hi!  I no nothing at all about wines...except I keep trying different ones till I find one I like. I have found I like Pinot, not sweet, rather dry...I did find one I loved!  Concannon Pinot Noir.  I joined to maybe learn a thing or two about wines.

Welcome to the Forum, DPA.  This is an excellent resource to learn about wines.  Let's hope that you find much more than one wine that you like.  Feel free to ask for others' opinions.

I have been a bit fan of the Concannon Petit Sirah, oh and welcome to Snooth!

Second the Concannon PS nomination.

Siduri Pinots are some of my Favorites, highly recommend them and nice range of price points.  They have mostly California Pinot and an Oregon one!

I've not had a PN for some time. I'll add Concannon to the ever-growing wish list now...

Hello Snooth people, I am a fairly sophisticated wine lover. My husband and I go seeking small wineries that are not on the beaten path and love to hear their stories while sitting in their kitchen or dining rooms. I took a wine course at the Culinary Institute in Napa and am happy to share information on great wines of all types. I can also share recipies because I love to cook too. I look forward to being part of this group.

Welcome, Newport, we look forward to learning from you.

Oh, Jenshoe, I don't want to ignore you, but I agree with you on the Siduri-consistently good and very well priced.

Welcome DPA! You are at a great point in the wine experience, early discovery. Here's a tip that I wish I had learned earlier at that stag. Take notes on the wines you drink. Even if it is a simple as "Like", "Love", "Blech!":. Whatever your system, if you write down the label information and how you felt about it, you'll be able to find it again (or avoid it), and that will make your learning experience and enjoyment  more efficient. Just my two cents. Cheers!
