My name is William Ratliff. I like dry wines, while my wife likes sweet wines. I try to find middle of the road that we can both enjoy. So I have dabbled with some different things and find that for her to enjoy it is just much to sweet for my taste. I want to taste the grapes, not the sugar.
I have tried Pinot Grigio, but it is two dry for her, the the mercado seems too sweet for me. Well I guess I'll just have some cheese with my wine and drop it. Any way, I enjoy a good beer, a good wine, and a good whiskey. Thanks!

Hi William, my other half likes wines on the fruity side as well. I can drink those but I do prefer more earthy reserved flavors. I have decided not to try to convert her but rather open a wine for her and a wine for myself when our cravings speak for it. Keeps everyone happy. Welcome to Snooth.
