I AM A 39 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF 2 AND VERY NEW TO THE WINE DRINKING COMMUNITY. I FELL IN LOVE WITH MOSCATO AND CASORZO, WHICH HAS ME OPEN TO TRYING DIFFERENT WINE TYPES. I DO KNOW THAT PINOT IS NASTY TO ME OR MAYBE MY BAD EXPERIENCE WAS WITH THE WRONG ONE. I JUST STARTED DRINKING WINE MAYBE FOR 5 YEARS NOW AND HAVEN'T LEARNED THE ART OF PAIRING JUST YET BUT, WHAT I HAVE FOUND IS YOU CAN STILL FIND A GOOD AFFORDABLE BOTTLE OF WINE WHICH IS RIGHT DOWN THIS HARD WORKING CHICK'S ALLEY. I AM TOTALLY OPEN TO TRYING SOMETHING NEW SO I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS

Welcome, hard working chick! :) I'm sure you'll find lots of great feedback and ideas, as i have. Pinot noir seems inconsistent to me (I've heard it referred to as the "heartbreak grape" for similar reasons)...but nasty seems like a strong word if you have only had one. I'm kind of new to the wine appreciation game, but I'm fairly sure you can find nasty examples of everything. :) That said, it's not like you need to find a love Pinot Noir.
Honestly I've never heard of casorzo, so you've given me something interesting to look up! (That happens a lot).
There are a lot of people around who know more than I do - it would probably be good if you could describe what you hated about that PN or what qualities you like in different wines...then I'm sure more qualified people would have some great suggestions for you. :)
