- Hello all!
Hello! I'd figured this is the "introduce yourself" page and I might as well just do that.
I'm a twenty-something year old gal. My family has been in the wine business for quite sometime and I am finally enjoying all the wonderful wines out there. I mostly taste wines with my fiancee and we definetely like to pair our wines with dinner.
I like to focus on Italian wines, mainly because I am Italian and secondly because the variety of different grapes is unbelievable. I really enjoy younger red wines such as Barbera, Pinot Nero, Sangiovese, Valpolicella and a couple of blends. But trust me.. I won't turn down a good Brunello!!!
Well.. that's enough of me.. how's everyone else here on the boards?

Dpenzo - welcome to Snooth! I'm a fan of big in your face fruit bombs, but do temper that with some nice off dry Alsatians.
Not too long ago it was all white burgundy for me, but then i moved to America and fell in love with Cali cabs!

Hi Depenzo!
Welcome to Snooth!
I love Italian wines, you'll find many tasting that we hold here at Snooth will be based on Italian wines or varieties. Where are you from, maybe we can get you involved in one of our blind tastings?

Hey dpenzo -- welcome to Snooth! I've been pretty jazzed about Syrah recently, but always appreciate a good Cab.
Give me a cool climate Pinot and I'll be happy, or an off-dry killer German riesling. So much tasting to do. That's why we're here.

Cheers Dpenzo,
I am partaking of a forwardly fruitly delight as I compose this brief response, Lindemans South African Cabernet Sauvignon, 2006. It a veritable festival of bright, redolent berries.
The taste shimmers with ripe strawberries. This wine is a fandango of robust fruitiness.
