Hi, and welcome to Snooth. I actually was drinking quite a few South African wines over the last few months including the Sebeka Cabernet/Pinotage which I loved! I also found it a very affordable wine at around $10 US. Do you have any recommendations of others?

Hey welcome. I recently tried Lindhorst's Pinotage from Paarl. It was excellent.

Eclipse! Hey there. I havent tried too much pinotage actually - no particular reason, and when i do have it, I find that I like its spiciness.
Am a fan of the minty eucalyptus notes in South African Cab though.

Thanks for the recommend. About a month ago I had a pinotage WARWICK "Old Bush Vine" 2006. (from the Stellenbosch area) It was quite good: starfruit, crisp, white pepper, with dark fruit. A little smoke. In fact its eccentric which is what I love about pinotages. However in Los Angeles it seems hard to find. the Wine House says it doesn't sell well(?). Currently I am in a Northern Rhones phase...LOL

That Warwick ROCKS. Old vine fruit, second and third year barrique which just accentuates the spice, one of my favorites!
