- Harvest Festivals at local Connecticut Wineries
It's Fall and here in Connecticut, the wineries are gearing up for the annual Harvest Festivals celebrating the 2009 grape harvests.
All of the wineries are an easy day trip from New York, Northern New Jersey, Boston, Rhode Island, and even Long Island. And while the trees haven't yet started turning, the drives should still be lovely.
The wineries hosting Fall Festivals are listed below - for a full list of upcoming Connecticut winery events, check out the Connecticut group page here on Snooth. And if you do stop by one or more of the festivals, please consider adding some comments - and even pictures - of the day and the wines on the Connecticut group page.
Weekend of September 19-20
Hopkins Vineyard, New Preston, CT (Western CT)
