I like a sweeter Riesling... does anyone know if this is sweet?

I haven't had this particular vintage but since the alcohol level is only 9% it will be fairly sweet. It should not disappoint you.

Spatlese Rieslings are middle of the road in terms of sweetness. If you want sweet, look for an Auslese, or for dessert-sweet look for a Halbtrocken or a trockenbeerenauslese.

If you prefer Rieslings on the sweeter side you might want to focus on the warmer regions of Germany, The Pfalz and Nahe, in lower acid vintages, such as 2003. Even if a wine doesn't have more sugar lower acidity can give the impression that a wine is sweeter and the peachy fruit that is typical of these warmer regions, as opposed to the more citrussy quality of wines from the Mosel or Saar for example, can also give one the impression of added sweetness. Two producers I can recommend that won't break the bank and thus are good for experimenting with are: http://www.snooth.com/winery/schafer-frohlich/ in the Nahe and http://www.snooth.com/winery/kurt-darting/ in the Pfalz.

I'm sure you'll get many more excellent suggestions here but That a great place to start!
