- Great vid link to a true "Snoother"...
David MolyneuxBerry (THE M.O.W.)... Breakin' it down, Snooth style, about frauds in the wine bizz:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFnOSx6Ow1w
He brings up a fella named (or I should say 'pseudo-named) "Rodenstock", who they feel they're onto, in a big way, for spreading fakes through auction houses like Johny Appleseed.

I could make a great case for putting DMB on the ballot for the Snooth Hall of Fame. Maybe even first ballot. The guy's more than a "Master"- dude's an ambassador.

There's a very interesting artical in the NY times archives regarding "Rodenstock" and the Thomas Jefferson wines.
Wish labels were as much fun as this one .... go art deco.

YES- that New Yorker article is a fantastic read. HIGHLY recomend it to those who have the slightest bit of interest in this story, Koch, the Jefferson "collection"... and wine in general.
Here's a link to the piece in the New Yorker:

Very interesting indeed. I am a bit new to wine...especially high end wines. What is the white wine he jokes about saying that it is the millionaire white wine? Moracshay or something? Just curious. I will take a look at the article tomorrow...
