Got my nakedwines.com case, now what?

Posted by Tbandcwfjourney, Nov 3, 2013.

Got my introductory 6 count case with my voucher.  All six wines are a 2012 vintage.

Da Da Da Lodi Chardonnay

F. Stephen Millier Angel's Reserve Viognier

Villebois Sauvignon Blanc Vin De France

Stephen Millier Lodi Shiraz

Dominic Hentall Puglia Sangiovese Negroamaro

The Butterfly Effect Reserve SE Australia Shiraz

do I enjoy any of them now, wait til summer, wait for a couple of years.  Thoughts, suggestion?

Nothing really complex here. They are built to be enjoyed now which is what you should probably do.

It's a little interesting to me that nakedwines.com is a sponsor of the Snooth Concierge program and there is very little, almost no info about the wines they sent and not much conversation.  I guess that must be because they source from the smaller lesser known vineyards/producers.

How do you get a voucher?

I got mine before snooth started offering it with their concierge program from an in app offer.  The app is Hello Vino.  Don't really like the app all the info seems pretty old.

NakedWines was kind of an interesting idea, almost like Kickstarter for wine, in that your purchase was supposed to enable them to bottle these interesting wines.  I didn't like the loss of choice, but that's just me.  I'll be interested to hear if the wines are any good.  I wouldn't age them, but if they took a long journey, I would give them between three weeks and three months to recover.

Where do I tell the vintners if I liked or loved their wines?

Six count case?? I thought it was an actual case (12) count! I see they offer a starter case with the wine voucher, however, is one obligated to order more? Is this like a wine club?
