Hi! I am a 33yr old trying to stay at home mom of two boys and used to be a graphic designer. I now drive a school bus because they let me take my kids to work. My husband...is a golf pro...hence the nickname.
I love to train Jiu Jitsu and do kettlebell but am currently waiting for an ACL reconstruction....so I'm taking it easy in the fitness department until I'm all better.
My kids are crazy and keep me on my feet. On weekends if I make it past their bedtime I like to indulge. I don't know a heck of a lot about wine but I do know that Pelee Island are always safe choices and the pinot grigio with the bird on the bottle is tasty. I also like a good Merlot....completely different wines :P I do like trying new stuff....but usually they only taste good after a few glasses.
In the picture I am on the left and am with my most awesome friend Sarah who currently can't sip wine with me due to cancer....cancer sucks.

Welcome! Knowing what you like, trying more wine, getting a better idea of what you like....that's a big part of the learning process for me as well!
I've never had the pleasure of drinking Pelee Island wine.
Best wishes to you and your friend in her fight.

Welcome, GW. I'd never even heard of Pelee Island. Now, thanks to you and the Snooth Forum, I have.
Please continue to explore new wines. That is, pretty much, the mantra of most of the participants, here. On the other hand, the most important thing is that you drink what you like.
Feel free to ask questions here on the Forum--we love to show off--and please keep us updated on your wine adventures/discoveries.

I guess it's not Mike Weir? :)
Are you a fan of Ontario wines? Do you see much BC wine out there?
