Great wine from his label, giacobbe. When was he last actually hands-on at the winery?

Actually the last vintage of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is the 2000 (probably next vintage will be 2003), he produce Amarone only in excellent vintages, in the others vintages you can find "Rosso del Bepi" an Amarone that he did not want to call as Amarone, 2002 is the last vintage.
Last Vintage for "Recioto della Valpolicella Classico" is 1997.
Last vintage for "Alzero" (blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc but produced like amarone) is 2000.
Of course these aren't the last hands-on vintages, just the last on sale.
