- FRV100 de Jean-Paul Brun
Hi,
I'm new to the site and to the world of wines/champaigns in general. On a recent travel show I saw on TV they mentioned this champaign that caught my interest. The one on the show was a 2007 vintage and had a pick color. The closest thing I found on this site is a 2005 vintage listed as being white. My question is, does color indicate a difference in the taste of a wine. If so, does anyone know where I could try to find the one I saw on TV.
Thanks,
J

This is a pink sparkler. Gamay with Poulsard I think though it may be all gamay.
It's a fun wine, a touch sweet, and as the playful name implies (effervescent) F-R-V 100, is something to be taken as a less serious endevour from a very hard working and talented winemaker, JP Brun.
