Ah, we did have that before a recent forum restructuring. Thanks for reminding us -- we should resurrect Snooth forum RSS feeds.

I find notification a little hit-and-miss (though more hit than miss) even with forum threads we've already posted in and subsequently re-viewed...

Oh, and right now I have to click on each forum topic (or any other button) twice to actually get to it...

Whats the last problem? You need to click each button twice? Thats a recent bug?

I'm wondering if its because you are far away from our main servers and there's a lot of latency... We are adding hardware in Europe / Asia / South America and Australasia which should really speed the site up for the non US based users.

Philip, that was a temporary problem, it would seem, earlier this week. Not experiencing it now. But for a day or two things were very hinky. Any access attempt to any part of Snooth demanded patience and double or even triple attempts. No timeouts, just no response from the buttons when clicked, until the second or third time. Happened with both Safari and Firefox.

Because of my proximity to a main trunk through the Net via my ISP here in Tokyo, I think I may be 'closer' to you than many people in more netwise remote parts of North America. Though we all suffer from time-of-day and other traffic issues, of course.

@dmcker, was this only on the forum? Or other pages as well? Any idea what time of day you were experiencing this?

Mark, it was for wine searches, access to my page, and the forum. I wasn't at it continuously, but it seemed to be happening regularly over the course of more than a day here, not just at one particular time of day.

Thanks for the info -- as Philip says we'll soon be rolling out better support for worldwide Snooth users. Let's revisit and see if you are experiencing more problems then.
