Not a whole lot. However, you can get some opinions on occasion regarding said wines (from some of my own very humble comments, exempli gratia). I love Alsatian wines and share your apparent enthusiasm - especially as in British Columbia we have about the most perfect climate to reproduce the quality of these Franco-German wines. You are best positioned to determine what's available by asking your local wine merchant and if hew/she has not suggestions, move on directly to the producers themselves. You will find that it is now relatively easy to obtain any wine you wish - assuming that you are willing to make it worth the while of the hard-working wine-maker...
Good luck, and may I suggest you explore this idea of Alsatian wines further... there is little talk her on this subject, and I am just a bit too scatterbrained to help just now, though I will do what I can.

This is probably not going to help you, at all, David, but it looks like I purchased a Riesling/Gewurztraminer blend called Edelzicker at the Navarro Winery in the Anderson Valley (Northern California) in 2001. I do remember enjoying it, but now, thanks to you, I have learned the origin of the name. I just checked the Navarro web site and, sure enough, they are still producing it.

David we are not advertising the wines, only showing listings for wines that were each created when the wine was available from a retailer. One of the features of Snooth is that it is a database for wine, and preserves things such as pricing, winemaker notes, tasting notes and other details for many of the wines we index in our database. We rely on user to help fill n some of these details and if we deleted files once the wines were no longer available we would not offer users the opportunity to record their data and take advantage of what has already been recorded. Admittedly many wines, particularly the more obscure wines such as Edelzwicker, often have very little info on their pages, but again if we didn't display them we all would be losing out on the opportunity to add details and then take advantage of the resulting resource. Of course you might have wanted to buy one of the several examples that our partner retailers do have in stock.
